ISTE-T 2 design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments
a. Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote students learning and creativity.
This document is an example of a project I require of my 2nd graders to complete. This project requires them to research online, within articles, and books to find facts about their animal and its habitat. With this project, I start to teach the basics of internet research and the responsibility that comes with it. Students are encouraged to explore, discover, and get excited about their research.

b. Develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual curiosities and become active participants in setting their own educational goals, managing, their own learning, and assessing their own progress.
|
This is a screencast I did of an educational website that allows students to pursue their own individual curiosities and work at their own pace. Due to the friendly interface, students are able to explore and manage their own learning through fun games and activities.
|
c. Customize and personalize learning activities to address students' diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources.
This is a slide show I created for what would be a teacher education course. Problem Based Learning is a specific type of learning that encourages students to learn through problem solving. Every year, new students come with different learning styles and needs. Analyzing and adjusting to those needs is necessary. Problem Based Learning is an example of just one type of teaching style that can be used for their unique needs.

d. Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards, and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
This is a screenshot of my Google Classroom that I use with my 2nd graders. Students are able to answer the assignment via GoogleDocs and send it electronically to me. On my end, I can see who has completed it, who is still working on it, and organize each student's response in my Google Drive. This is an example of the many different ways I can assess my students with technology.
